Privacy policy
How the office handles the personal data of visitors to this website and of people who write to it or call it. This is a courtesy translation; the Slovenian version prevails.
1. Data controller
The controller is Odvetniška pisarna mag. Samo Logar, mag. Samo Logar, attorney at law, Pločanska ulica 10, 1211 Ljubljana Šmartno, Slovenia.
For any question about personal data protection, write to pisarna@logar-op.si or call +386 41 329 306.
2. Visiting the website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising tools and has no forms. Fonts and images are loaded from this website’s own server, not from third-party providers.
On each visit the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type. These records are needed to operate the website and protect it against misuse (legitimate interest, point (f) of Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation). They are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
3. When you write to us or call us
If you email or call the office, we process the data you give us: your name, contact details and the content of your message. We use them to reply and to assess whether we can take on the matter (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, point (b), or legitimate interest, point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation).
If no engagement follows, we delete the message once it is no longer needed to handle the enquiry. Client data are kept in accordance with the rules governing the legal profession. Everything you entrust to the attorney is protected by professional secrecy.
4. Map
Next to the office address there is a Google Maps map, which loads only when you click “Show map”. A connection is then made to the servers of Google, which receives your IP address and may store cookies on your device; data may also be transferred to the United States. The basis is your consent, given by clicking.
If you do not open the map, nothing is sent to Google. More on the processing: Google Privacy Policy.
6. Who else processes the data
Data are processed on behalf of the office by the web hosting provider (Neoserv), the provider of the website’s security protection and the email service provider. We do not sell data or pass them on to others, except where required by law.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your data, their correction or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. Send your request to pisarna@logar-op.si.
If you believe the office is processing your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, www.ip-rs.si.
8. Changes
We may update this policy if the way the website works or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
